Children’s Raft Race…..A close finish with “Flower Power” just pipping their closest rivals to the post. It looks close in the Adult Raft Race……..but “The Cuzzies All Out” shook off the competition and emerged as clear winners. The “Whaka Zoo” crew maintained their 100% record in coming last…but won the Most Innovative Award.Children’s Single Kayak winner: Chloe Leaf (There were no participants in the Children’s Double Kayak race)Adult Single Kayak Winner: Bruce BatonAdult Double Kayak Winners: Janet Wallace and Penny HardingGrace and Keira Dunn organised the Children’s Races – and great fun was had by one and all! Events included running, sack, egg & spoon, three-legged and wheelbarrow races……The ski challenge provided a lot of laughs…as did the egg-throwing competition.The tug-o-war competitions were popular……and so was the yummy BBQ! Many thanks to all participants and supporters who helped to make this such a successful and enjoyable event!
